This is a simple translation from our German Data Privacy Policy. The German text shall be legally binding and can be found via clicking this link: Datenschutzerklärung.

1. Objectives and responsible position

This Data Privacy Policy clarifies the nature, scope, and purpose of the processing (including the collection, processing, and use of obtaining of consent) of personal data within our online offer and the websites, functions, and contents connected with it (hereinafter jointly referred to as »online offer« or »website«). The Data Privacy Policy applies regardless of the domains, systems, platforms, and devices (e.g. desktop or mobile) on which the online offer is executed.

The provider of the online offer and the party responsible for data protection is Frafimi (https://www.frafimi.com), owner: Frafimi – Ellinger & Schäfer GbR, Offenbacher Landstraße 5, 60599 Frankfurt am Main (hereinafter referred to as »provider«, »we« or »us«). For contact details please refer to our legal notice.

The term »user« includes all customers and visitors of our online offer. The terms used, such as »user«, are to be understood in a gender-neutral context.

2. Basic information on data processing

We process personal data of users only in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations in accordance with the requirements of data economy and data avoidance. This means that user data will only be processed if a legal permis is available, especially if the data is required for the provision of our contractual services and online services, or if it is required by law or if consent has been obtained.

We take organizational, contractual, and technical security measures in accordance with state of the art technology to ensure that the provisions of the data protection laws are complied with and to protect the data processed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons.

If, within the scope of this Data Privacy Policy, content, tools, or other means are used by other providers (hereinafter jointly referred to as »third party providers«) and their registered office is abroad, it is to be assumed that a data transfer to the countries where the third party providers are based is taking place. The transfer of data to third countries is based either on a legal authorization, user consent, or special contractual clauses that guarantee the security of the data as required by law.

3. Processing of Personal Data

Personal data will be processed, in addition to the uses expressly indicated in this privacy policy, for the following purposes on the basis of legal authorizations or consents given by users:

• The provision, execution, maintenance, optimization, and safeguarding of our services, assistance, and user benefits.
• The provision of effective after-sales services and technical support.

We do not transmit any user data to third parties. The transmission of user data to third parties occurs only if any offers on our website (e.g. through optional use of our website by the provider WordPress or the use of our webshop or through technical implementation via plug-in provider Woocommerce) are used. Furthermore, the data will be passed on for other purposes, if these are necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations towards the users (e.g. address notification to suppliers).

When contacting us (via contact form or e-mail) the user’s details are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise. Personal data will be deleted if they have fulfilled their intended purpose and the deletion does not conflict with any obligation to retain them.

4. Collection of access data

We collect data about every access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). Access data includes the name of the website accessed, file, date, and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.

We use the protocol data without allocation to the person of the user or other profiling according to the legal regulations only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of our online offer. However, we reserve the right to subsequently check the protocol data if, based on concrete evidence, there is a justified suspicion of illegal use.

5.Cookies & Range Measurement

Cookies are pieces of information that are transferred from our web server or third party web servers to user’s web browsers and stored there for later retrieval. Users are informed about the use of cookies in the context of pseudonymous range measurement in the context of this Data Privacy Policy.

The viewing of this online offer is also possible under exclusion of cookies. If the users do not want cookies to be stored on their computer they are asked to deactivate the corresponding option in the system settings of their browser. Stored cookies can be deleted in the system settings of the browser. The exclusion of cookies can lead to functional limitations of this online offer. It is possible to manage many online ad cookies from companies via the U.S. website About Ads or the EU website Your Online Choices.

6. Google Analytics

At this time (as of October 2020) we do not use any analytic tools (such as »Google Analytics«).

7. Integration of third party services and content

It can happen that within our online offer contents or services of third party providers, such as city maps or fonts from other websites, are integrated. The integration of third party content always requires that the third party providers are aware of the user’s IP Address, as without the IP Address they would not be able to send the content to the user’s browser.

The IP Address is therefore necessary for the display of these contents. Furthermore, the providers of the third party content may set their own cookies and process the user’s data for their own purposes. User Profiles of the users can be created from the processed data. We will use these contents as sparingly and as fair as possible to avoid data loss and will select reliable third party providers with regard to data security.

The following presentation offers an overview of third party providers and their contents, together with links to their data privacy policies, which contain further information on the processing of data and, in some cases, as already mentioned here, the possibility of objection (so-called »opt-out«):

8. User rights and deletion of data

In addition, users have the right to correct incorrect data, revoke consent, block and delete their personal data and, in the event of the acceptance of unlawful data processing, to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The data stored with us will be deleted as soon as such data is no longer required for their intended purposes and the deletion is not opposed by any legal obligation to retain them.

9. Changes to the Data Privacy Policy

However, this only applies with regard to the Data Privacy Policy.
